- PA-II :- Master’s in Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics/ Geophysical Technology & B. Tech in Computer Science/ IT or equivalent
- PS -I :- Ph.D in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics & M. Tech in signal Processing & Physics & Seismology
- PS -II :- Ph.D in Geophysics / Seismology
- SPA :– Master’s in Geology / Ph. D (Geology) in the area of Paleomagnetism
- JRF :- Master’s in Geology/ Applied Geology with not less than 55% marks plus NET (LS)/ GATE
