Mumbai: Maharashtra State Education Minister Mrs. Varsha Gaikwad tweeted on 19/7/2021 that CET is going to be held for all 10th Passed candidates on 21st August 2021.
The registration for the exam is going to be opened on 20/7/2021 at 11.00 A.M on cet.mh-ssc.ac.in. The link was shared on mahahsscboard.in. The registration process will be open till 26/7/2021.
CET is an optional exam that is going to be conducted this year since the students were not able to appear for exams due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
So in order to create a level playing field, the decision to conduct a CET test was taken by the Board.
The Exam can be given by students of any board, although the students from other boards will have to pay a fee of Rs.178/- to appear in the examination. The Registration is free for students affiliated with Maharashtra State Board(SSC).

Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021
Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021 is being conducted this year since the Covid-19 Pandemic has disrupted the normal way of exams being conducted. Maharashtra SSC board recently declared the results for 10th standard students. The results were computed on the basis of internal assessment.
Since the board wanted a level playing field, it decided to conduct the CET Exam for students so that they can perform better in exams. The CET Exam is NOT COMPULSORY. But during the admission process, students with CET score will be given priority over students who don’t have Valid CET scores.
