Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections are a few months away and many young political parties are looking to pursue a career in politics. Notification regarding Medical Officer Recruitment has been published by the Municipality and the details of educational qualification, age limit, experience, last date of application required for the post have been given. For this, MBBS graduate aspiring candidates are invited to apply for the post of Contract Medical Officer.
Candidates applying for this post should have an “MBBS” from a recognized university. Must have a degree. Also the candidate should be registered with Maharashtra State Medical Council (MMC). Candidates will have to fill in the patient information themselves through computer. So he needs to have minimum knowledge of computer. Also, on 14th July 2022, the candidates should not be more than 64 years of age.
Candidates should attach their resume, 10th, 12th and academic certificates, school leaving certificate, caste certificate (for backward class candidates), identity card (Aadhaar card, license) and passport size photo while applying for the post. Candidates in the reserved category for this post will be given concessions in terms of recruitment and age limit as per government rules.
Candidates selected for this post will be paid a salary of Rs. 70,000 per month. If the number of patients exceeds 50 per day, an additional honorarium of Rs. 40 per patient will be paid. If a medical officer examines 90 patients daily, the monthly honorarium can be as high as Rs. 1 lakh 10 thousand. This recruitment will be for a temporary period of 180 days only.
