Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc. – 8,331 Posts

Category-II

Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Officer, etc. – 3,690 Posts

Category-III

Driver – 1,120 Posts

• Grade-IV: 13,300 Posts

Assam Direct Recruitment Eligibility criteria

Education Qualification

Grade-III –

• Category-I :- Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration can apply online for these posts.
• Category-I :- Candidates who have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent can apply online for these posts. (For some posts, candidates should be class 12th passed from science stream.)
• Category-I :- Candidates who have passed HSLC or equivalent can apply online for these posts.

Grade-IV –

The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed.

Age Limit

Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2022.

Selection Process

Written exam/ Skill test/ Interview

• Bachelor’s Degree Level –

Candidates submitting applications for graduate level posts will have to take a written test.

Stage 1 (Written Exam) –

1. Type of Questions: Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs)

4. Duration of Exam: Three Hours (180 Minutes)

Stage 2 (Skill Test) –

1. Type of Exam: Computer Test/ Interview
2. Total Marks: 25 Marks

• Class 12th Level –

Merit List –

On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination a list of all candidates shall be prepared in order of merit. The commission shall determine minimum qualifying marks for computer test/ other test/ practical test. Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in the computer test/ other test/ practical test shall not be eligible for selection.
